Tools &
Resources…
The following resources have been meaningful to me and often I will refer to clients.
The Feelings Wheel is a tool that helps us find more accurate descriptive terms when trying to put words to how we are feeling. This helps with increasing self -awareness.
The Awareness Trifecta is a way of thinking about the dynamic way we can be growing our God-Awareness, Self-Awareness and Other-Awareness as we listen and respond to the active presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Enneagram Personality Test - this links you to theRHETI® Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI v2.5) which is a great tool for exploring your enneagram type and raising your self-awareness. Also includes other tools to learn and compare Enneagram types.
M.E.R.P.S. | Self Check-In Exercise
This tool takes just a couple minutes to be still and check in with yourself. As you do, write down a one word or two word description of how you are feeling for each of the following areas represented by the MERPS acronym.
Try to refrain from using words like “good”, “fine” or “okay”. You might even consider looking at the online Feelings Wheel for more ideas.

Emotional ________ /__________
Relational ________ /__________
Physical ________ /__________
Spiritual ________ /__________
The goal is to really try to be in touch with where you are and how you are feeling. If you are unable, maybe consider finding another time or setting to try this exercise again.
